MATFP Academic Engagement Day 2025

The MATFP Academic Engagement Day is a much-anticipated annual event that brings together students, academic staff of the Master of Arts in Translation for Professionals (MATFP) programme, and the management team in a relaxed and engaging setting. More than just a gathering, it serves as a platform to foster meaningful connections, inspire learning, and celebrate the vibrant academic community we are collectively building.

One of the highlights of the event was a heartfelt sharing session by Hussein Darw Kamal Hussein, a current student, who reflected on his personal learning journey in the programme—offering inspiration and encouragement to his peers. The event was also graced by Dr. Ilangko, a respected faculty member who is soon to retire. He shared his invaluable experiences and insights gained over the years as part of the MATFP team, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
