Members of the Centre are actively engaged in research that covers the following areas: Workplace Literacy; ICT and Language Learning; Issues on Gender and Ethnicity in Education, English and Malay Language Learning and Teachers' Education.
Current research projects include:
Multiliteracies in Education: Research and Development Practices With a Focus on Forms of Literacy in English in Schools in Malaysia, 2003-2006 (LONG TERM IRPA).
University Curricula: An Evaluation of Entry Level Workforce, 2003-2004 (Project under Ministry of Education through NaHeri)
Japanese Childrens Programmes and Television Literacy in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, 2003- 2004 (Sumitomo Foundation)
