PROFILE

Mozhgan holds a PhD in Translation and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Languages, Literacies, and Translation at Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is also the Honorary Vice President of Shanxi Vocational College of Information Technology, China. Her areas of interest include Translation Technology, Machine Translation, and Audiovisual Translation.

Personal Passions & Interests

  • Paddler: Member of Penang Expat's Dragon Boat team for Pendang race 2022, and represented Celtic Warriors, Ireland in the Sarawak International Dragon Boat Regatta 2023. Member of Malaysian Dragon Boat Federation.
  • Runner: Engages in various marathon and half-marathon events.
  • Rock Climber: Passion for rock climbing and completed the trek to Everest Base Camp.
  • Animal Advocate: Engaged in elephant conservation as an Elephant Ambassador at Cambodia's Elephant Valley Project and passionate about canine welfare.
